So, I was out longboarding in the sun, bombing some hills and just when I was getting some wind in my hair, bam! I skidded and the iPhone flew out of my pocket and crashed onto the merciless tar road. I must’ve been going at most 5 miles/hr, but evidently that was more than enough to shatter the glass screen.

During the crash, I had the incase iphone slider cover (no screen protector).

The capacitive touch screen still seems to work fine, which is miraculous. It seems like only the outer glass is broken. One of my friends suggested me this website which sells the replacement parts for a mere $30. The site seems a little sketch so I’m going to have to do a little bit more research.

My broken iPhone seems to be attracting more attention now than when it was immaculate. People passing by look at it, gasp and then want to touch it. All for the win I suppose.
